HOST

Ally Melendez graduated from State University of New York at Oneonta with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and a minor in theatre.

As a Senior in college, Ally landed her first hosting job as a host/video jockey for IndiMusicTV's Top 21 Countdown. The monthly show highlighted the top 21 most voted on music videos created by independent artists. 

Ally then went on to host IndiSpotlight Live, a live music show broadcasted to thousands of viewers via Dailymotion.com and IndiMusic.tv.

Ally has worked as both a host and reporter for AwesomeTV, an internationally acclaimed entertainment news website. Under this brand, she covered events such as Indian-American Heritage night the Prudential Center, and the 2017 IIFA Awards held in New York. 

You can catch Ally on numerous episodes of CBS' Live It Up with Donna Drake, where she acted as their resident lifestyle correspondent. She has worked alongside Donna to cover events such as the 2017 Angel Awards, and NATPE Miami in 2017 and 2018.

She has conducted interviews with Angela Yee, New York Yankee's manager Aaron Boone, Lawrence Taylor, Tyron Woodley, MTV's Justina Valentine and WWE's Logan Paul, to name a few. 

Currently, Ally is the in-arena Host for the Long Island Nets, the NBA G League team affiliated to the Brooklyn Nets. She can also be seen at Barclay's Center hosting many Brooklyn Nets games throughout the season, and at Red Bull Arena to broadcast for the NY Red Bulls during their home matches. 

Other sports hosting includes working with the New York Mets, the New York Cosmos, the New York Riptide, as well as The ACC & Atlantic-10 Men's basketball tournaments. Additionally, Ally hosted the 2019 Kyrie Irving Invitational and was the in-theater host at the 2019 Heisman trophy presentation. In 2021, she was the side line reporter for the New York Riptide (NLL) on MSG +.

For over two years, Ally hosted Reward The Fan, a live trivia game show anyone can download from the app store and play on their smart phone.

Today, Ally can be seen on TV's all around the World! She is the host of Well Life NYC on YES Network, Red Bulls Community Report on Apple TV ( a part of MLS Pass), & she hosts on QVC. Ally also hosts BetOnline All Access, a sports betting show where she interviews athletes.

Ally is the creator, executive producer, and host of the show "Ally Answers"  on IndiMusicTV. 

In 2020, Ally launched The On-Air Institute, a 12 week course aimed at helping aspiring on-air hosts and public speakers master their mindset & confidence, sharpen their public speaking skills and ultimately land or create the on-air job of their dreams! In 2023, Ally became nominated for a NY Emmy for her hosting work on Red Bulls Report, which aired on MSG Networks.

FITNESS COACH

Ally is a certified yoga instructor, having completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2019. She then went on to receive her CPR/AED certification and her AFAA group fitness certification shortly after. She believes fitness is as important for the body mentally as it is physically. Before leaving the fitness industry to broadcast full time, Ally used to coach at Row House, a boutique fitness studio specializing in exercises on & around the ergometer and at Box + Flow which combines boxing and yoga.
